Chow Chow – A medium to large-sized, sturdy, and independent breed from China, originally bred for guarding and hunting. Known for their lion-like mane and blue-black tongue, Chow Chows are aloof, loyal, and protective. They have a thick double coat that needs regular grooming. Chow Chows require early socialization, consistent training, and moderate exercise.
